A Short Update

Hello Friend,

Are you still there? I’ve neglected this space for a long time, but I always knew I’d be back. While I’ve been gone, I’ve worked on a few new projects which includes publishing two new books.

 My award-winning book As a Sunflower Faces the Sun: Devotions on Seeking His Light was published February 2022 and won the International Impact Book Awards on March of this year.  I was quite excited about that. While I’ve been published in award winning books before, it was my first personal win. You can view the book trailer here.

My latest book, She Always Wore a Hat: A Portrait of Love, Loss & Legacy, was published May 2024. It is my heart’s work. Compiled from my journals it shares my healing journey after losing my mother. She was my best friend, confidant, pastor and biggest cheerleader wrapped up in a chocolate brown package of unconditional love. You can view the book trailer here.
